The Angelus House Art Gallery, at the corner of Washington Street and 5th Street, in Wilmington’s reviving Quaker Hill neighborhood, opened in May with a delightfully vibrant and meditative exhibit by Delaware artist Martha Ann Szczerba. The state-of-the-art gallery, residing in an exquisitely restored building, has become an integral part of Wilmington’s art scene, including the popular Art Loop. The gallery hosts a mix of art and media, especially showcasing Catholic art. Proceeds from sales are earmarked for Wilmington’s Ministry of Caring. I encourage all to visit.
